Those travelling from a non-EU country, who therefore have no access to a European Union Digital Covid Certificate (EU DCC), but who have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved in the EU, will of course also be granted access to the trade fair grounds. The following proof of this will be accepted:

1. Trade fair participants who have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved in the EU or those who have recovered from the virus (at least 28 days and up to 6 months ago) will be granted access upon providing the same written proof they used to enter Germany. A special counter will be set up to activate the exhibitor or visitor tickets for this purpose. Proof of identity must be presented at the counter.

2. Trade fair participants who enter Germany with a negative test certificate must still provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test (antigen or PCR test; NOT a self-administered test) which ideally meets the EU DCC standard or, if applicable, as a printout from the test centre, when entering the trade fair grounds. Proof of testing must refer to a test carried out no more than 24 hours (for antigen tests) or 48 hours (for PCR tests) previously. Test centres near the Cologne trade fair grounds that issue this certificate can be found here (filter for "Digital Covid Certificate").

Further information on the Covid-19 certificate that meets the EU DCC standard can be found here.
