In the event of a positive test result, the person concerned must isolate themselves to the greatest possible extent. Persons confirmed to be infected with SARS-CoV-2 via a PCR test must enter quarantine immediately after receiving the test result.
Persons who test positive must immediately inform all persons, with whom they have had contact in the last four days prior to or since the test was conducted. This includes everyone who they have been in contact with for a period of more than 10 minutes at a distance of less than 1.5 meters without both people wearing mouth nose protection or people who they shared a poorly ventilated or unventilated room with for a prolonged period. The public health department decides on the further course of action and the vaccination status may be taken into account in the process.
