The set-up/dismantling phases for Koelnmesse's upcoming autumn events are long enough to allow for set-up and dismantling without crowding. The basic prerequisite for this is that the stand construction companies make full use of the available time slots. For example, focusing set-up on the final days of the set-up phase is not recommended. Instead, please distribute your work evenly across the time available. If necessary, Koelnmesse will allow set-up times to extend into the night.
Staff supervision and signage will also be provided at the lifts to ensure safe distances are maintained. Furthermore, goods lifts are primarily reserved for transporting loads. Koelnmesse will keep all available stairwells and stairways open, so that all the floors can be reached by foot.
Koelnmesse uses the digital logistics tool eSlot for the events in autumn. This will be used to control truck deliveries and thus indirectly also the loading and unloading activities in the trade fair halls by means of pre-registration and time slot allocation. It also serves to better distribute and thus reduce loads on the lift systems.
